Being a vegetarian for over 10 years, I now need to lose some of the weight i’ve put on in this time. Unfortunatly I must be eating an unblalance diet as i see plenty diets but most are for meat eaters none for us veggies. Any ideas for a good healthy Vegitarian weight loss program ?

If you are really looking for the best weight loss diet,
I suggest doing what this mom did and combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best result
a proper raw vegan diet would help you to lose weight.
having a good balanced diet is the way to go, meaning MEAT. it is impossible to survive on vegetables alone
go vegan. dairy makes people grow out of control and constantly hungry. i just went vegan and lost 3 lbs in a week, eating like 2000-3000 calories. also, make sure u walk Every day, for like 30 minutes. our ancestors were hunters and gatherers, and genetically we are meant to exercise every day. otherwise the body does not work properly and stores fat. good luck.
Include coconut oil in your diet, as its great for weight loss. Simply replace other fats in your diet with coconut oil. It is essential to eat enough fat, even when you want to lose weight. The best fats are butter, extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, red palm oil, and small amounts of flax oils. Full-fat dairy products are also good (especially yogurt). Never buy low-fat anything. There is a lot of evidence that diets too high in protein are detrimental to health, and removing the fat from dairy products makes them dangerously high in protein.
The best way to lose weight is to combine moderate exercise (like a 40 minute hike 5 days a week) with decreased carbohydrate intake. Of course, you still need carbs, but several servings of vegetables and fruits and maybe one serving of bread, rice or potatoes per day should be plenty. Other than that, I would make sure to eat plenty of whole yogurt and cheese, and maybe some beans to go with your rice. Vegetable soups are excellent accompanied with sourdough breads. If you really want to get ambitious, I would suggest learning Indian cooking because there are tons of great vegetarian options.
Try not to eat dessert too often, but don’t be too strict or you will end up abandoning your diet. Try to make desserts at home with natural sweeteners such as raw honey, molasses, date sugar, or sucanat. Or eat fresh fruit or berries with cream.
This website, run by the Mayo Clinic, has a copy of the vegetarian food pyramid on it. Use it when planing your meals. Cut out all veggie junk food from your diet. and start exercising more.
