It comes down to calories in versus calories out. You can learn more about this by finding your your BMR, so that you know how many calories your body needs just to function, and then you can adjust it properly to account for weight loss. Eating less and exercising more will work if you have patience.

i tried this diet and lost 25lbs in a little over a month and a half. called idiot diet. eat lots of tuna, drink lots of water, no soda, lots of fruit, nothing fried. I missed eating potato chips and gained it all back. i will start again after the holiday. gl

A high metabolism diet. Most teachimg hospitals like U of Michigan and U of Iowa have a high metabolism diet thet you eat for four days a week and then eat what you want the other three. I had a St Johns of New York diet and went fron 199 to 150 in 4 months. During the four days a week you diet you will be hungry because the amounts you eat are small but good food! YTou also should drink 8 glasses of water every day and do not eat anything for five hours before bed. I will try to locate a diet and post it to you by tomorrow

Its all math. it takes 3500 calories to loose a lb. Find out what your BMR is. That’s the amount of calories that your body burns just to function. Then make sure you burn more calories then you consume. If you burn off 2000 calories and you only eat 1000 you will loose about 2 lbs a week. It is healthier to loose weight slowly (2lbs a week) and you are more likely to keep the weight off.

Eat healthier things drink more water and get more exercise but its not healthy to have quick weight loss experts say you should loose no more then two to three pounds a week.

First assess what you’re eating AND drinking. Take a day, eat like you always would and count the calories in everything. You might be surprised by how much you take in even if you don’t eat a lot! For a diet your goal should be 1500-1800 calories a day and I think 8 grams of fat. Choose a meal where you can eat anything you want but that meal has to be small! I lost my post pregnancy weight by having whatever I wanted for breakfast, then two lean cuisines a day, and in between I had cauliflower with ranch dressing instead of chips, fat free pudding instead of candy and snack cakes, and pretzels. Every night plan your meals and count the calories. It helps keep you from straying off your diet if you know exactly what you’re going to eat the next day. Drink diet soda! I was taking in ALOT of calories just from how much soda I was drinking!

atkins diet. I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. alot of it was water weight and carb buildup. It helped for a while but i really started to miss mashed potatoes!!!

low carb is actually very fast – with very little salt so you do not retain water weight – i do not reco either long term – best way to lose weight is to exercise about 30 minutes a day – even walking – or doing somethingat your desk – get your heart rate up – while it is up even when you are less active, it allows you to burn more calories – also, instead of 3 meals – eat 6 – break those 3 meals down into 6 meals – same amount of food – this will keep metabolism going – if you need more help just email or IM

There is no such thing as quick weight loss. All you have to do is exercise (which includes 30-45 minutes of cardio and 60 minutes of strength training) and eating 5-6 small meals a day. Make healthier choices in your eating habits and eat smaller portions and you should drop the weight. And always remember to have some protein with every meal you eat, especially after you work out.

NO SUGAR…lots of water and VISUALIZE and BELIEVE that you can loose the weight. Get an accountability partner or group and work (moooove) hard – meaning lots of cardiovascularly stimulating activities – even if you just walk/run around your block or JUMP ROPE -it is the best. cut back on greasy foods….eat lots of fruit and veggies….for protein have beans…stay away from alot of meat…..for snacks eat plain popcorn…with no butter..and easy on the salt. Drink plenty of water…I’ve heard ice water is the thing to drink while you’re dieting.

It Will depend on the age and the lifestyle and present condition of health of the person. There is no formula which can be universally accepted by everyone irrespective of his age, sex, health condition etc.

Taoist/Chinese Medicine weight reduction exercises:
Part One.
1 Stand against a wall so that your heels, buttocks, upper back and head are against the wall.
2 Inhaling through your nose, stretch your body upward, pulling your abdomen in as far as possible so your chest expands fully. Keep your arms by your sides. Your shoulders should feel as if they are expanding and pressing against the wall.
3 Exhale as quickly as possible through your mouth. Blow the breath out fully and push your abdomen outward. Your entire body will tighten automatically on the exhale if done properly.
4 Practice this inhale- exhale repetition 7 to 12 times.
You will find that with consistent practice, the muscles in your abdomen and belly will tighten and become toned and strengthened. Excess fat, water and flesh will be eliminated and the belly will shrink.
Part Two.
1 Stand away from the wall and bring your heels off the floor so that you will be standing as high on your toes as possible.
2 Keeping your spine erect and straight, bend your knees slightly as if your were going to sit on a chair. Your arms will fall at a 45 degree angle from your body.
3 Keeping your breath regular, stay in this position from 10 to 20 seconds, or longer if possible.
NOTE: At first it will be impossible to keep your back straight and your heels up very far. With practice and practice, you will be able to get your heels perpendicular to the floor, your thighs parallel to the floor and your back straight.
This pose strengthens and tones the thighs, calves and ankles. It makes the abdominal muscles strong and increases the ccirculation in the legs and body, as well as strengthening the back and nerves in the body. It also stimulates the meridians of the bladder, gallbladder and stomach. these meridians lie along the legs, and so it helps to reduce water retention and excessive weight and lowers blood pressure.
Always practice both parts of the exercise at the same sitting as they balance and complement each other. When practicing this exercise, remember never to force or push yourself beyond your limits. Acquire patience and steadiness in your practice. Good Luck!

the wrestlers diet… 1 apple, 1 cup of rice, 1 6 oz chicken Brest and all the celery you can eat…… cuz theres no calories in it and it also takes the body more calories to break it down than what you get from it.

Drink lots of water because it flushes your system. Try taking water pills because it gets rid of excess water weight which you store in your body as well. A power walk for 1/2 hour to an hour a day definitely helps get results within 3 weeks or so, you’ll be able to see and feel the difference. As tempting as it may be, stay away from the junkie foods and fill up on lots of fresh vegetables!!

u can get that Hollywood diet drink and u can lose about 8-10 lbs in 2 days but u may gain it back when the 2 days r up! it does work b/c my sister n law did this for a friends wedding and I think she lost about 9 lbs in 2 days. she did gain it back though.
